The Cuetec Cynergy Truewood Mappa Burl I is a two-piece pool cue built around a kiln-dried Canadian maple core and highly figured Truewood Mappa Burl wood veneer. Its Merry Widow design is finished with silver Truewood Shield rings and creme accent rings for a detailed, wood-forward appearance.
Cuetec’s Clear-Tec epoxy resin finish is used to increase stiffness and reduce vibration. The cue is paired with a Player’s Choice Cynergy carbon fiber composite shaft, available in 11.8 mm or 12.5 mm diameters. Each shaft measures 29 inches and carries a soft Tiger Sniper laminated tip for cue-ball contact and feedback.
A 3/8x14 Cuetec joint with a 21.30 mm diameter joins the shaft and butt, while a 1.5 mm gloss black phenolic shaft collar completes the connection. The standard weight is 19 oz and can be adjusted in 0.25 oz increments using the Cuetec Acueweight Generation II system.
The Truewood Mappa Burl I also includes a Duo Extension Ready bumper, CT joint protectors, and Cuetec Shaft Cleansing Wipes. It brings carbon fiber shaft technology together with a figured wood veneer design in the Cynergy Truewood cue lineup.
